CRS-27 Mission

On Tuesday, March 14 at 8:30 p.m. ET, Falcon 9 launched Dragon’s twenty seventh Commercial Resupply Services mission (CRS-27) to the International Space Station from Launch Complex 39A (LC-39A) at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida. Following stage separation, Falcon 9’s first stage landed on the Just a Shortfall of Gravitas droneship within the Atlantic Ocean.

Dragon autonomously docked with the area station on Thursday, March 16 at 7:31 a.m. ET (11:31 UTC).

  2. Hey SpaceX – The equations for orbital speed at an altitude of 198 km yields a speed of 28,042 km/h, yet the SpaceX video has the indicated speed of 27,011 km/h a "nominal orbit insertion". Did you think nobody would notice?….

  4. I will be impressed when I see a vacuum begins it collecting all the harmful gasses being released when all I hear is climate change disaster but ii see non stop rockets launching… Seems a bit contradictory…

  5. I watched this last night. It was so freaking cold but the view was beautiful. If you listened closely you could even hear rumbling from it and it looked like the sun was coming up!

  6. I seen this in person lastnight..I was across the water loading lumber and all of a sudden I hear this rumble and light stream going into the sky..blew my mind,didn't know what was going on..and to see it dissolve and disintegrate in the sky..AMAZING!!!
